What is Traxa?

Simply put, the supply chain is busted. It’s why big companies can’t commit to a 2-day delivery anymore and why your grocery store doesn’t have the special ingredient for your super tasty top secret recipe. Or even toilet paper.

Traxa is the most comprehensive Web3 response to the issues surrounding the global supply chain. What this means is that rather than just starting another company to try and get other big supply chain companies to share their data, we are bringing a community focused approach where everyone has the chance to help build a real time global supply chain database AND get rewarded for doing it.

Ok cool, so ummmm, what does Traxa do?

Traxa is on a mission to be the number 1 source of supply chain data. We stand out from the rest by being a crowdsourced model where everyone from college kids to shipping companies can contribute crucial supply chain data points, and everyone gets rewarded for being a part of the process. There’s a lot going in to building this system, but the quick version is you take a photo of the back of a Shipping Container, you mint it as an NFT in the App (where it gets verified) and boom, people who need that critical data about where that container is in the world can now access it while you’re chasing down the next container to snag another NFT. You know what’s really cool? Every NFT you produce, YOU own.

Wait, I get to keep my NFT and can get rewarded?

In a world that collects ~$200 billion worth of data on you while you get nothing from it, we are here to do the opposite. We reward you for the data you produce, and we aren’t even collecting data on you!

As for ownership, the NFTs you produce (we’re calling them “Proof of Location” NFTs because we are cool like that) are yours, and the power is in your hands. You can sell it, lease the data to marketplaces, earn rewards by contributing metadata, or just let it sit in your wallet and name it Shippy, it’s up to you! Of course, we are here to help you understand where you’ll get the biggest reward for your NFTs, so don’t worry about it being overwhelming.

How can I involve myself in the project?

The best way to get involved is to join the DAO on Discord (http://discord.traxa.io). You will be able to see what is going on, and begin engaging with others to get involved in the areas you are most interested in.

What are the roles I can play and what will reward me the most?

There are many, many ways you can get involved with Traxa. Jumping on our Discord will show you all the categories people are contributing to (Creating NFTs, Technical Developers, Marketing Content, Cheering Squad, etc). Each person who joins brings us one step closer to helping the global supply chain move into a better future, and we are super excited to see what you bring.

Is Traxa hiring?

How will Traxa reward my participation?

A fundamental principle of the Traxa DAO is that users get rewarded for engaging in the Traxa ecosystem. From Producers to NFT Owners, we are excited about building a world where people are actually rewarded for the data they create. Stay tuned for more details!

I'm noticing changes in the Android App. Can you tell me why?

Currently we are testing out our minimum-viable-product (MVP). Staying true to keeping our community involved in the journey, we have made it available while it’s being developed. So if you’re one of our early adopters (who we greatly appreciate), this means there’s going to be a lot of updates along the way. We appreciate your patience and your ideas on our Discord!

I don't have an Android! How do I play?

Honestly, we really want you to be able to start using Traxa too! We appreciate your patience as we work through making this happen. If you have Dev experience and want to help your fellow blue text box users out, consider becoming a contributor in the DAO on Discord: http://discord.traxa.io.
